Bike and equipment rental
Ofcourse its possible to rent a bike and equipment, please contact us about pricing and which brands and models are available at your destination.
Insurance
For all FB Travels activities we insist that clients have holiday insurance that does cover them for all activities included in the holiday itinerary. We do not want you, or us, or our guides to be in a position where there is an injured person who cannot be rescued or treated due to the lack of suitable insurance.
If your policy is not clear on what is covered please ask your provider to put a confirmation in writing – without this you cannot be sure of receiving treatment abroad and we cannot let you ride on your trip until suitable cover is confirmed.
Guides
All guides working for FB travels are passionate bikers and skilled mechanics. We use local guides, who not only know the area like their backpocket, but ofcourse speak fluent English.
In case of emergancy, there is always a backup vehicle close with a large first aid kit, tools and spare parts.
Although mechanical problems can be fixed, please have your bike checked thoroughly before going on a trip with us. A fresh set of brakepads and innertubes should be standard in your travelbag. We work with two guides per trip, one handling the luggage transfer and the other travelling with the group.
Riding level
Before going on a trip, we make a profile of the group to see what type of riders they are, and how much experiance they have. This way the guide knows who he is dealing with and which trails to bring you on. Because he knows the area like his back pocket, he can always alter the tour if needed, so you will have the trip of a lifetime guaranteed!
