Bookingprocedure
By booking an activity with FB travels, you automatically agree with our terms and conditions. We assume you have read and understood those terms and conditions, before you book an activity. If there are any questions after reading the terms and conditions, please go to our contact page.
On request we email you the bookingform for the selected event or holiday, when we receive the filled in form return a confirmation email goes out to the main booker of the group. Within a few days you will receive the invoice.
Downpayment is 25% of the total, this downpayment needs to be transferred directly, and needs to be received within 10 days of the invoice date.
The remaining sum needs to be received in our account 6 weeks before the commencing date of the event or holiday.
You will receive details information about the trip, the exact destination and a checklist at least 2 weeks before the commencing date.
Cancelling by you
It could be possible that you want to cancell the booked activity, FB Travels has the following rules about cancelling your trip.
From the confirmation of the booking up until 10 weeks prior to the commencing date of the activity, we only charge a 35 administration fee.
From 10 weeks until 3 weeks prior to the commencing date of the activity 50% of the total amount is charged
If you want to cancell in the last three weeks prior to the commencing date, the entire amount needs to be paid.
Cancelling by us
FB travels will try to make no changes to the planned activity, date or location. However, it can occur there are certain situations that FB travels is forced to make changes, or in the worst case scenario cancel the activity. Each activity has a minimum number of participants, which is mentioned on this website. When by cancellation or other circumstances this minimum number isn't made, FB Travels will try to make changes in dates to prevent cancellation by us. This may result in a change in travel date. Ofcourse all changes made will be communicated to the participants.
Responsablity
FB travels is not responsible for any injury, damage or loss of property during any of the FB travels activities. During the activities all instructions by FB Travels guides should be followed up. Not obeying the instructor will lead to exclusion of the FB travels activity. During all activities, you have to wear a helmet. Before starting a FB Travels activity, we advise you to have your bicycle checked by a qualified mechanic. The riding terrain is demanding and brakes and gears, as the rest of your bike must be in working condition.
Insurance
When participating in a FB Travels activity, you are responsible for an insurance which covers that activity. You must be able to show proof that you are properly insured, we do not want to be in a situation where someone needs medical attention and is not properly insured. If you are not sure if your insurance covers the activity, please check with your insurance agent.
Change in activity program
Although the activity program is set and discussed in advance, it is always possible last minute changes are made in case of weather influences or other circumstances. This does not give you the right for a refund or discount.
